A nursery in a suburb of Perth, Australia has been declared a public nuisance.
The ‘baby crib’ was found by staff and the baby was later taken to hospital.
The crib was installed in the basement of a home in the town of Woomera.
It has since been declared to be a public health nuisance.
“It’s a common crib and it has been around for a number of years and people are going to think ‘well if it’s in there then it must be a problem’,” Woomeri Mayor Tom Kavanagh said.
“But actually it’s a nursery and it’s been there for a long time.”
This is a really good idea and it will make it a bit safer for our children.
