A little boy is helping his dad get the new house that’s been on the market for a few months to their parents.
“I know I’m not the only one who likes to watch,” says John, pointing to a tent at the side of the yard.
“And I like to watch it with my parents,” he adds.
“It looks pretty cool,” his dad says, and they agree it’s going to be a great addition to their family.
John’s new tent is made from a fabric he bought in a thrift store.
But it’s the children’s tent cover that John is getting excited about.
“When I’m watching the game and it’s raining, I know I can get inside and get wet,” he says.
“I don’t know if I can find it anywhere else.”
The first-time buyer bought a second-hand tent cover in the thrift shop to use in the home theater for his two daughters.
John says the cover is more durable than the first-hand version and is easy to use.
He’s been able to put it in a hole he dug into the house and now has it hanging on the ceiling of the basement.
The cover is a little more expensive than the original one, but it will last a lifetime and be a lot more comfortable.
John says he’s planning on buying more tents for the house.
