The caterpillar, which is native to the United States, has made its way into the United Kingdom.
And, as we noted yesterday, the British have been taking it on a tour of the countryside.
The caterpillar’s arrival in Britain is the result of a partnership between the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and British Naturalist magazine, which will feature the caterpillar in a special issue on caterpillar.
The caterpillars are currently known to be in the UK, but not for long.
The Royal Horticulturists Society has published a video of the caterpillar’s arrival, which has garnered quite a bit of attention online, including from the likes of The New York Times.
The Royal Horticulture Society, a charity, is a branch of the British government, and is tasked with promoting the natural world through research, education and conservation.
According to the Royal Conservancy, there are more than 4,000 species of caterpillary in the world, and more than 10,000 of them live in the United Sates.
That number is growing.
According the British Naturalists magazine, the caterpiller caterpillar is “the most abundant plant of its kind in the country.”
They’re also listed as a “special invasive species” by the World Health Organization.
The National Parks and Wildlife Service is helping to keep the caterplasm contained and contain the spread.
The first known sightings of the insect were recorded in the 1960s.
The British government and conservation groups have been trying to track down the cater, and are working to find out if it’s invasive or not.
They’re hoping to have it eradicated from the country by the end of 2019.
We have more on the British caterpillar from The New Yorker, which reported that it is known to bite people, eat berries, and consume fruit.
